About The Renatural

The Renatural is a venture-backed beauty technology company reengineering how premium hair products are made. We combine patented robotics, advanced materials and expert craftsmanship to create a new generation of hyper-realistic wigs.

We are building a manufacturing process that has never existed before. Our production environment sits at the intersection of textiles, beauty, materials science and robotics—and we are looking for a highly capable, hands-on Production Assistant to help us bring that process to scale.

The Role

This is a practical, detail-intensive manufacturing role for someone who enjoys making physical products with their hands. You will be trained across several stages of our proprietary production process, from preparing delicate cap materials and adhesives to operating our robotic hair-injection system and finishing completed units.

You will work closely with our production and engineering teams to execute established processes accurately, keep materials and workstations production-ready, and help units move smoothly from one stage to the next. The work is varied: on a typical day, you may prepare materials, support an injection run, clean molds and tools, reclaim hair and reset a workstation for the next production cycle.

This is not a desk-based fashion production role. It requires patience, dexterity, consistency and pride in precise, repeatable work.

What You’ll Do
  • Produce and prepare materials using delicate textiles other advanced materials
  • Measure, kit and prepare adhesives and production materials according to documented formulas and procedures
  • Support multiple finishing stages
  • Learn to operate our robotic hair-injection system, including loading and removing hair and monitoring injection runs
  • Hackle, reclaim, weigh, bag and accurately track hair and other production materials
  • Inspect work during production, identify visible defects and escalate deviations promptly
  • Clean and maintain molds, tools and shared production equipment
  • Replenish workstation supplies and ensure each station is correctly set up for the next process
  • Keep workstations and the wider production floor organized, safe and clear throughout the day
  • Complete daily production-floor reset tasks, including waste removal and tool storage
  • Follow standard operating procedures closely and contribute observations that improve quality, safety and repeatability

What We’re Looking For
  • Professional, academic or personal experience working with textiles, garments, wigs, hair, sewing, crafts, fabrication or another hands-on production discipline
  • Excellent manual dexterity and confidence handling small, fragile or intricate materials
  • Extreme attention to detail; you notice small inconsistencies and care about the quality of the finished product
  • Ability to repeat a detailed process consistently without skipping steps
  • Coachability and a low-ego approach: you listen carefully, follow established procedures and apply feedback quickly
  • Strong organization and cleanliness habits
  • Reliability, punctuality and the ability to maintain focus during repetitive work
  • Comfort learning unfamiliar tools, equipment and technology
  • Ability and confidence to communicate clearly when something looks wrong, a process has deviated or supplies are running low
  • Willingness to move between production tasks as priorities change

Especially Helpful
  • Experience in a sample room, atelier, sewing studio, wig workshop, beauty-production environment, soft-goods factory or laboratory
  • Familiarity with adhesives, thin materials, mesh and other sensitive materials
  • Experience working from SOPs, work instructions, recipes or quality-control checklists
  • Experience with light manufacturing equipment or production machinery
  • Hair handling, wig making, ventilating or hackling experience

Direct wig-making or robotics experience is not required. We care most about strong hands, sound judgment, discipline, curiosity and the ability to learn our process quickly.

Why Join Us
  • Competitive salary of $75,000–$75,000
  • Up to 100% employer-covered medical, dental and vision insurance
  • Full-time position with the opportunity to develop specialized expertise across advanced materials, robotic manufacturing and premium hair production
  • Direct influence on a category-defining, venture-backed beauty technology company
  • Commuter benefits
  • Complimentary snacks and lunches
  • A clear path for career advancement

Physical and Workplace Requirements

This role is performed fully on-site in our Brooklyn production facility. It involves extended periods of standing or sitting at a workstation, repetitive hand movements, handling fine materials, using small hand tools and completing routine cleaning and material-handling tasks. Team members must follow all required safety, ventilation and personal protective equipment procedures when working with adhesives, machinery or other production materials.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will be able to complete assigned production stages safely and consistently, prepare and reset your workstation without prompting, maintain accurate material handling, recognize common defects and support routine machine runs with appropriate oversight. Over time, you will become fully cross-trained across the production line and may take ownership of a specialist stage based on your strengths.

How to Apply

Please submit your résumé and a short note describing the most precise or hands-on work you have done to aasiyah@therenatural.com. If available, include photographs or a portfolio showing relevant textile, garment, wig, craft, fabrication or production work.
